ARTIST SUPPORT PLEDGE is a generous culture and dynamic economy in support of artists and makers. It was instigated by artist, Matthew Burrows, to help promote artists and makers and boost sales during the Covid-19 pandemic. The artist or maker posts an image of a piece of work to sell on Instagram with the #artistsupportpledge tag. The piece must be no more than £200. Anyone can buy the work. For every £1000 of sales the artist pledges to buy another artist/s work for £200.
