Prices
Prices shown on the site are in GBP and are inclusive of VAT. They may be changed at any time without prior notice.

Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability of goods ordered. Ruth reserves the right to refuse any order.

Online shopping via this site is currently only available to UK-based customers. If you are outside the UK and are interested in placing an order please contact Ruth to discuss potential purchases.

Delivery times
Some items are held in stock but most of the jewellery is made to order. If an item is in stock it will be dispatched as soon as possible, usually within 5 days of placing the order. Items which need to be made to order will be delivered in 2-4 weeks.

Any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only.

If you require an item urgently for a special date or event please contact Ruth and she'll try her best to accommodate your requirements.

Payment
Ruth Bridges Jewellery uses Paypal, a well known and secure online payment method. Once payment has been authorized, Ruth will send you an email confirming your order.

Postage and packaging
All orders are sent using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service (guaranteed next day delivery and insured) and a signature is required on receipt. The cost of postage is £6 and will be added at the checkout. Postage is free for orders of over £150.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they are there to sign for delivery of the goods and have supplied  a correct and complete delivery address. Once the goods have passed to Royal Mail, Ruth cannot be responsible for delays in delivery or damages.

Cancellation
Orders for stock items can be cancelled any time before dispatch but you must inform Ruth in writing by email, letter or fax.

Please note that orders for goods which have been specially commissioned, customised or personalised to order cannot be cancelled.

Returns
If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase simply return the goods, unworn, in their original condition and packaging. Please inform Ruth of your intention to return goods in writing by email, letter or fax.

All goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery to receive an exchange or refund (minus the cost of postage and packaging).

Any goods which have been specially commissioned, customised or personalised to order cannot be returned.  Due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned.

You are responsible for arranging and paying for goods to be returned using Royal Mail's Special Delivery service which ensures the item is tracked and insured during transit.

Refunds will be made using the same method as the original payment within 30 days.

Faulty or incorrect goods
If your goods arrive faulty, damaged or are not what you ordered you must inform Ruth within 7 days of delivery and she will help you to resolve any issues as quickly as possible. Wilful, malicious damage or negligence will void any rights you have to take advantage of the refund or exchange policies.

Goods which are thought to be faulty after this time will be treated case by case. Please contact Ruth to discuss the problem.

Description of goods
Every effort has been made to ensure all images are a true representation of the finished product but due to the handmade nature of Ruth's jewellery, slight variations may occur between pieces. Gemstones used may vary slightly in colour due to the nature of the raw material. Please note that colours and images may vary depending on the monitor and browser you are using. Images may not be actual size. Please refer to the individual product dimensions provided for the actual size of each piece.

Privacy
Ruth Bridges Jewellery will not share any information you provide with any third parties. You will be added to Ruth's email and mailing list for future updates about events and exhibitions. If you would like to be removed from this list please send an email with "unsubscribe" as the subject.
